Does it feel like you’re trying to fit a square peg into a round hole? Have you checked obedience classes off your to-do list but your dog’s behaviour still hasn’t changed? You’re not alone! We have a different approach.

Standard obedience classes didn’t work?

Start with skill building instead

With concept-based training, we don’t teach behaviours like sit, down or come. Though there is a place for them, they don’t adequately prepare a dog for the real world. Teaching skills through games does!

The power of games

Games build skills like:

  • calmness

  • disengagement from distractions (dogs, animals, people and objects)

  • proximity so your dog loves being near you (hello loose leash walking and amazing recalls!)

  • optimism and being able to think while excited or aroused by something

Train for real life situations before they happen

Building skills through fun games gives you and your dog the tools you need before you actually need them. Train for the situation, not in the situation and you’re on the way to the dog of your dreams!
