Walk This Way
Prerequisite: Kick Start
Does your dog pull like a freight train? Dart from side to side, pulling to get the next great thing? This course focuses on three main concepts to grow loose leash walking:
focus/engagement with you
disengagement from distractions
calmness
We’ll play specially curated games that will get you to those loose leash walks, just like you always imagined!
Tricks!
Prerequisite: Kick Start
When you think about it, everything we teach our dogs is a trick. Trick training provides mental, enrichment and bonding and can be a great way to expend pent up energy when the weather isn’t so great. Enjoy this course with your dog and learn:
concept of behaviour shaping
spin, twist, bow, sleep, shake a paw and more!
Dimmer Switch
Prerequisite: Kick Start
Does your dog have just two speeds? Stop and GO! Does your dog go from zero to 100 in a split second? If this is the case, your dog has a “light switch” in terms of arousal. It’s either “on” or “off”. There is nothing in between.
In this course we’ll help you teach your dog to have levels of arousal. We’ll show you how to grow your dog’s DIMMER SWITCH.
