Dogs don’t intrinsically understand English. To them, what we think of as words are nothing more than sounds. This game will teach your pup/dog that the “sound” that is their name has a meaning. That meaning is “look at me”, which will allow you to then ask them to do something else such as lay down or come. The goal is a whiplash head turn when they hear their name, hence, I LOVE My Name!
